The ACOD team are thrilled to announce the following exciting partnerships commencing February 2017.

The Australasian College of Optical Dispensing (ACOD) has officially partnered with ProVision, Specsavers and OptiBlocks NZ to deliver high quality optical dispensing training across Australia and New Zealand.

ACOD and ProVision, along with industry experts and suppliers, have partnered to deliver a cobranded introductory short course for staff of ProVision members. This course covers a wide range of knowledge and skills with students achieving a statement of attainment towards the Certificate IV in Optical Dispensing.

Specsavers have endorsed ACOD as their new training provider for NSW, ACT, WA and New Zealand. Students are currently enrolling and the ACOD team are looking forward to facilitating the Certificate IV in Optical Dispensing course for them and developing knowledge and skills with them. Benefits will include improved student centered learning experiences and closer engagement with employers and partners.

Since 1952, ADONZ has been the peak body representing qualified dispensing opticians in New Zealand. OptiBlocks is the training arm overseeing the training of student dispensing opticians. OptiBlocks has selected ACOD as their new training provider for the Certificate IV in Optical Dispensing with students currently enrolling online for blended learning and upcoming workshops provided in Auckland.

Enrolments for other prospective students across ANZ are open for the following courses.

  • HLT47815 – Cert IV in Optical Dispensing
  • BSB42615 – Cert IV in New Small Business
