Pegah attended the University of Sydney where she received her B.Pharmacy and B.Dentistry (Hons) degrees with an Australian Dental Association Prize in proficiency in Dental Ethics and Professional Responsibility. She also received a prize in Human Rights and Dentistry competition. Her previous experiences include her position as a clinical hospital pharmacist in The Canberra Hospital, as well as Pharmacist in Charge in community pharmacies. Pegah has been a member of the Nobel Biocare Scientific committee and was involved in teaching and conducting hands-on-training courses in dental implants to General Dentists. As a General Dentist, Pegah has enjoyed providing high quality, evidence based, gentle and patient-specific dental care to her patients, with an emphasis on a preventative approach. With her qualifications in Training and Assessment, Pegah has also been involved in development and training of Cert III and Cert IV in Dental Assisting courses in TAFE NSW and CIT Canberra. Currently Pegah is also a Clinical Educator at The University of Sydney, Westmead Centre for Oral Health, as she has a passion for teaching and mentoring the next generation of professionals.

April is a dedicated business professional with a strong passion for optics and education. She has extensive experience in business management as well as workplace training, which includes the development and delivery of both classroom and workshop based training. She joined the optical industry in 2013 and holds a Certificate IV in Optical Dispensing.
Adele is currently a practice manager with 5 years experience in the optical industry. Prior to her move into optics Adele had worked in the customer service industry for 14 years and studied education with mathematics. Having always had a passion in these fields Adele found the perfect balance with her customer service background in the optical industry. Completing her certificate IV in Optical Dispensing through Randwick TAFE she now looks forward to helping the next generation of optical dispensers attain their qualifications.
Carly commenced work as an optical assistant with OPSM in 2005.
When Specsavers launched in Australia in 2008, she made the switch across and has been employed with the company for nearly 9 years, managing several branches with intent on purchasing her own.
Carly completed the Certificate IV in Optical Dispensing in 2013 and achieved the highest award attached to this course, the TAFE NSW State Medal. Following this and in line with her passion for teaching and training, Carly completed the Certificate IV in Training and Assessment in 2014.
During her career, Carly has completed multiple courses in Leadership, Staff Training, Culture in Optics and Project Management.
With 12 years optical experience and a passion for coaching and mentoring her colleagues, Carly is looking forward to many new opportunities to further develop her teaching abilities with ACOD.
