Lara Jackson

Lara is an Optical Dispensing Trainer & Assessor and Regional Compliance Officer with the Australasian College of Optical Dispensing (ACOD). Entering the optical industry in 2016, Lara quickly discovered her passion for improving patients' vision and enhancing their quality of life. Her dedication and excellence were evident when she earned the prestigious First in Course Award upon completing her Certificate IV in Optical Dispensing with ACOD. Since then, Lara has excelled as a senior dispenser in various practices while also sharing her knowledge by training other staff members.

Lara has been with ACOD since 2020, lecturing across Australia and New Zealand, and is passionate about upskilling the Optical Assistants within our industry into qualified Optical Dispensers.
